After Lost, I went to the Darkhorse for an ice, cold beer. I did not know that it was Roustabout! In fact I had no clue what the hell Roustabout! was. I learned that every Wednesday they have indie bands come in and play, and that most of them are really good.
Locksley was the band last night. They were very good, sounding something like the Strokes early stuff. They have that fun upbeat 60s BritPop sound, which is always fun and enjoyable. If I get the chance I may purchase their new record.
Anyways, I think I will continue going there on Wednesday’s. It was much more fun than listening to Jonathan sing Legalize It at the Arena. Or all the other crap that is regurgitated week after week. So if anyone wants to come next Wednesday, let me know.
