Bin Laden Stuff

As everyone knows, last night President Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed.  You can read all about it here.  It is a great moment of closure for American’s, but does not necessarily mean that the radical Islamic groups will stop hating us over night.  When it was announced that the president would be making a major announcement at 10:30 p.m. last night, Twitter went a little crazy with speculation, some of which were very funny.

-Capitals are relieved of their duties.
-Obama assuming control of the Dodgers.
-Bin Laden’s dead, does that fix the Pens power play?

Those are just a couple of the ones I can remember off the top of my head.  I also saw this picture from the Daily Collegian, which made me proud to be from Penn State.  I heard that the cops were at Beaver Avenue, but they said there was no rioting or anything out of control.

Here is a video of Phillies fans chanting U-S-A during the Mets game after the announcement was made.  I guess this makes up for booing Santa Claus…
