Vacation: Day Seven

I slept in and it felt great!  When I finally woke up, Lindsey made me some pumpkin waffles.  We watched Always Sunny and The League.  I then went to the store for some things and Lindsey did stuff in the kitchen.  I think she spent most of the day peeling apples or something.  I am not really sure.

Later in the day she made dinner.  It was spaghetti squash chicken alfredo.  It was pretty good, but it freaks me out eating the spaghetti squash noodles.  Every bite I took, I kept thinking that it would be like pasta, but then it was crunchy.  Very odd mental sensation.

Once we were done eating, we went to pick up Lindsey’s sister Kayla and her fiance, Adam.  We were going to a corn maze in Hollsopple (I swear this is not a made up town).  The maze was located at Faranda’s Farm and we arrived there after dark, figured it would be more of a challenge.

Honestly, I figured it would be pretty lame.  Fortunately, I was wrong.  It was definitely fun.  I just wish we would have split into two groups (or maybe Adam and I should have split off and tried to scare the girls at some point, I will save that plan for next year).

We spoke with the guy who runs the place and he said that it takes the company they contract about three hours to make the maze.  He designs it and they do all the grid-work and whatnot.  I thought that maybe his design was something simple, but after looking around online, I found this picture.

I have no clue if this was how it actually would look from high above, but I can tell you that it must have been pretty close.  Just from what I remember of how we went in and the different twists and turns we made.  Here are a few more pictures of our time there:

We left there and the four of us went to Quaker Steak and Lube (we went there last Friday with my brother and Lora, weird).  Lindsey and I split an order of the Lube Chips with their beer cheese.  So delicious.

After that we came home and I watched some television while Lindsey pretended to be on her computer (I could hear snoring!).

Vacation is winding down…getting sad thinking about work already.
