Fantasy Baseball Week Thirteen

Pat was beating me all week.  I think at one point I was down 9-1.  Fortunately over the weekend, my team decided to step it up.  From Friday to Sunday, my team decided to hit eight home runs.  That is slightly impressive.

Buster Posey was my best hitter 4/4/6/0/.500/.560, with Yasiel Puig a close second at 6/1/4/2/.464/.483.  Will the league ever figure out how to slow down Puig?  Jose Bautista had an okay week, even though he started out very slow, 5/3/7/1/.259/.355.  I was at a point where I was contemplating getting rid of Elvis Andrus, but he turned it around this week.

My pitching was quite good again, although my starters had troubles picking up wins.  My only starter to pick up a win was Adam Wainwright.  Matt Cain pitched a great game, but the Giants do not like scoring runs.  Chris Perez came back from the DL, and I dropped Julio Teheran, but picked him back up a few days later when Brandon Phillips came back from his paternity leave meaning that Jordy Mercer was no longer needed.

I am now 87-56-13 and only four games behind Ryan now.  He actually lost to Imler, so I was able to gain a little ground.  This week I take on Swing’nTheBigStick.  He beat me last time, this will not happen again.
