This one bounced back-and-forth between Imler and I all week and especially on Sunday. At one point that day I was up 7-3, then down 5-3, then back up. Luckily, I came out on top.
My best hitter was Eric Hosmer again. His line this week was 4/1/5/0/.391/.462. Seriously, now that he is hitting at a decent clip, he has become a hot commodity. Hell, he could be someone to consider keeping next season.
All of my pitchers were pretty damn good. I lucked out while at work on Sunday, I forgot to set my lineup and it was too late to start Patrick Corbin, who had a horrific start on Sunday. Joe Nathan was probably my best pitcher, picking up a win and a save, along with five strikeouts without giving up a run.
Ryan gained more ground on me after this week, I am now 8.5 games behind. My overall record is 136-85-19. This week I take on Gideon, who is only ten games out from making the playoffs. Unfortunately, he will not be making it this year. Sorry my friend…
