Fall Television 2013

The fall television season is almost here, so I thought now would be a good time to write up a preview of the shows I will be watching.

Boardwalk Empire

Last season ended with Nucky taking out Gyp and then serving a blow to Rothstein.  Nucky says that he wants to be the power behind everything.  A man in the shadows.  I have a feeling that Eli and Chalky will be the new head of the AC gang.  It appears that there will be a new villain from Harlem.  As always, this will be a fantastic show.
Premiere: Sept. 8th, 9:00 p.m.

Sons of Anarchy
So much stuff happened last season.  But none of it really matters because now we get to see Donal Logue go up against Jax and the MC.  Lee Toric looks like he will be a dangerous enemy and he seems like he is hellbent upon revenge.  I am also hoping that Tara is shanked while in prison.  Oh, and there is no way Clay dies in jail, he will get out somehow.
Premiere:  Sept. 10th, 10:00 p.m.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Obviously I am going to watch this one.  Agent Coulson is somehow resurrected and forms a team of super-powered agents to do heroic things.  I hope they get some of the Avengers to make cameos.  Not like any of those actors have better things to do…
Premiere:  Sept. 24th, 8:00 p.m.

The Walking Dead
So the Governor is still out there, but he is not as big of a threat as he was before.  Now that the folks from Woodbury are at the prison with Rick’s people.  I actually have no idea what direction this season will take.  They should probably just kill everyone and have a show about Daryl and Carl killing zombies.  Probably be more entertaining.  I hope they start to turn Carl into a sociopath.  That would be an interesting route to take, kids growing up during a zombie apocalypse would be seriously messed up, probably all end up being murderers.
Premiere:  Oct. 13th, 9:00 p.m.

Supernatural
This is my guilty pleasure show.  This is probably the one thing I have in common with teenage girls. I think that is who watch this show.  I could be wrong.
Premiere:  Oct. 15th, 9:00 p.m.

Arrow
What will Oliver do now that his best friend is dead as well as Malcolm, his main enemy?  Hopefully this season focuses on the fallout from the destruction of parts of the Glades, as well as the rise of Roy.  I really want to see more DC villains introduced and reimagined.
Premiere:  Oct. 9th, 8:00 p.m.

The Tomorrow People
This is the CW’s version of Heroes. I am always intrigued by these kinds of shows, so I will give it a shot.  CW shows can be hit or miss.
Premiere:  Oct. 9th, 9:00 p.m.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
It will be funny.  The promo videos for this season have been cracking me up.
Premiere:  Sept. 4th, 10:00 p.m.

The League
Last season was pretty disappointing.  I am hoping they can get this show back to what made it so funny.
Premiere:  Sept. 4th, 10:30 p.m.

Grey’s Anatomy
This is Lindsey’s show.  I figured I would include it because I am a great fiance.  I hate to say this, but I usually end up watching this show with her and find myself following along.
Premiere:  Sept. 26th, 9:00 p.m.

Witches of East End
This is another show that will be for Lindsey (that I will undoubtedly watch).  She read the books this is based on and is excited for the next book to come out.  I informed her about the show and she said that I have to record it for her.
Premiere:  Oct. 6th, 10:00 p.m.

What shows will you be watching that I should check out?
