I was able to get a new phone today. I know, I said this was happening awhile back, but that ended up falling apart. Apparently we could not get the log in right and the website wanted us to go to the store. We tried that, but since it was no longer Cyber Monday, the phone was full price. I decided to wait for a bit.
We went today to get a new phone and get me on Lindsey’s family plan. The main reason was the my Verizon bill went up because I no longer get a discount for umm, well let me just say that someone at Verizon may have put in that I worked somewhere that I did not and their discount was pretty amazing. Needless to say, after a few years, Verizon finally caught on and wanted me to confirm my employment.
I decided to get the HTC One. I was tempted to go with the Samsung MEGA. That thing was enormous. I was actually worried that it would not fit into my pocket. Just look at how big this thing is compared to the phone I bought.
I started playing with my new phone and I definitely like it. It is bigger than the Incredible, which is actually a good thing. I missed having a larger phone.
Also, it blows my mind how simple it is to set up everything with Google Play. All the Apps that I have downloaded are there and I just have to install them. That is much simpler than having to go back and download everything again.
Now comes the fun part, playing with all the features and trying to adjust the settings on everything to get it just the way I want it. Does anyone have any recommendations for apps that I should try?
OH, I forgot to mention that they were able to keep my number, so no one has to panic about not having the right phone number for me!
