I thought this map was pretty cool. Although it is a little disingenuous. The entire country should have a shade of Yankee fan. If you go to the New York Times site where I found this, they explain the methodology, but if you zoom in on the map it shows distribution by county. The Yankees are a high percentage in almost of every region. I guess that is not very shocking.
