2015 Fantasy Baseball Week 20

Yep, it is good to be back. Plus it is great to be back to winning. I hope you enjoyed last week’s photos of married players. Tanner Roark’s was kind of cool, especially if you look up his engagement pictures. They were taken at the Harrisburg Senators park.

Anyways, enough about weddings and love. Time to get back to the business of baseball.

Week 20It was actually much easier checking my lineup everyday from the Dominican Republic than it was during the week leading up to the wedding.

Best Hitter:  This was a tough one, but in the end it really belongs to Mike Moustakas (3/2/10/0/.423/.464). Ten RBIs in a week is just damn impressive.

Best Pitcher:  I am going with Tyler Clippard for this one. He had a win, a save, a hold, and four strikeouts. He also gave up zero runs and had a nice .69 WHIP. Nathan Eovaldi

Biggest Positive Surprise:  Nathan Eovaldi. In two starts he gave me a win and 14 Ks.

Biggest Negative Surprise:  Cameron Maybin and his .133 average and only two runs scored. I hope George Springer is ready to come back.

Gideon moved back into first place with a victory over Jason. Technically we are tied, but he owns the tie-breaker. Ryan is in third after defeating Lindsey. She had a rough two weeks and is now three games behind Adam2 for the final playoff spot. Pat is in fourth place and is only four games out of first place, although losing to Dustin did not really help his cause. Dustin remains in tenth. Sean is in fifth after a loss to Adam2. Jason and Offord round out eighth and ninth places respectively.

This week I take on Pat. Lindsey goes up against Jason. Interesting tidbit, Adam2 and Gideon play each other. Who do I root for? If Gideon beats up on him and Lindsey wins against Jason, she could make the playoffs (next week she goes up against Ryan, which means she needs to cement a spot now). OR, do I want Adam2 to dominate Gideon, and hope that it gives me the upper bracket in the playoffs? Yes, it is tough being me.
