Ugh, after talking about how good my team looked at the break, guess what happens? I get defeated pretty easily by Dustin. So much for having the best hitting team.
Fantasy Player of the Week
Jose Altuve looked like his old self for Matt. He hit .348 with a .362 OBP, knocking in and scoring ten, while crushing four home runs, and stealing a base. Without that production from Altuve, Sean ends up getting the win against Matt.

Ryan and James decided to come out of the gate looking good, now I have my work cut out for me. Lindsey and Gideon had a close one since it all hinged on home runs. If Lindsey’s team hits one more, they tie the category and she wins for the week.
Best Move
Sean took my advice about needing power and offered me Dee Gordon for Max Muncy. Even thought Sean lost, it was not because of Muncy. He hit three home runs, scored eight times, and gave Sean six RBIs all while hitting .333 with a .462 OBP. How was Gordon? He hit .500 (with an odd .471 OBP), but only scored a run with two RBIs and zero stolen bases…you know, the whole reason I traded for him. You know who had more stolen bases than him? Freddie Freeman, Jorge Alfaro (a catcher), and Nick Markakis (he is 82 years old). Thanks Dee!
The New Week
I dropped to third place and I am now seven games back of James. Sean dropped to sixth, while Dustin and Adam2 moved up. This week I take on Adam2, while Lindsey tries to knock James down a peg. We also have Matt & Pat, Ryan & Offord, Sean & Jason, and Dustin & Gideon.
