11-1!!! I went from competing for first to now being outside the playoffs. I have nine players on the IL (I had to drop two of them because I just could not field a lineup).
Not trying to take anything away from Gideon. His team played really well, but look at some of those categories, my team could have kept it competitive. And it is my fault for being too stubborn to drop some of my guys that were injured. Is anyone going to pick up Jay Bruce? No, the Phillies went out and traded for his replacement, why would I assume he will be back soon. I am an idiot.
Fantasy Player of the Week
Justin Verlander helped Gideon destroy me by picking up two wins along with 23 strikeouts. Oh yeah, he had a 0.69 ERA and a 0.54 WHIP. He had more wins than my entire pitching staff and almost equaled them in Ks. It is also the first week where a pitcher has been the overall number one player in Yahoo. Pretty cool.

The Dustin/Adam2 matchup did not disappoint. Same goes with Sean and Ryan. Lindsey should have had a win, but she blew it on Sunday.
Best Move
No one really had a great move this past week. I guess anyone else that is dealing with injuries and had to cut bait on players, I feel your pain. I think someone dropped Severino and Sean was quick to pick him up. I doubt he will come back and start much, but he could end up being a reliever for the Yankees (or perhaps an opener).
The New Week
I take on Pat this week while my wife tries to get a win against Matt. The big matchup is between James & Ryan. The other good one will be Gideon and Adam2. After that we have Sean vs. Offord and Dustin vs. Jason.
