How did I do last year? Better than the year before. I completely nailed the AFC East. I picked 9 of the 16 teams correctly in the AFC, including two of the division champs. I was not as good at the NFC: only 3/16. I only got one division winner (Rams). Still, 12/32 or 38% correct? I think that is pretty good. Can I do even better this year?

I know everyone is high on the Browns. I think they will be good, but will probably fall short of the division. Without the distractions, the Steelers should be fine and the defense looks solid. The Colts and Texans will battle for the division again, but I would not be shocked if the Jaguars surprise people and make a run at the division (they should have a good defense). And in the East…it is the Patriots, until they lose, I am not betting against them.

Like the Browns, the Bears are the sexy pick, but I think the Packers will surprise people and this will be the last run for Rodgers. The Rams will not be as invincible as last year. The Eagles should be one of the top teams in the NFC again, as long as they are healthy. The Saints…they are the NFC version of the Patriots at this point.

Drew Brees versus Philip Rivers. I think Rivers finally gets his ring and can be talked about as one of the all-time greats.
