Today is our fourth anniversary. We decided to not get each other anything this year since we are going to a concert this weekend. However, I am not great at following instructions. The 4th anniversary gifts are linen or fruits/veggies. I initially thought about getting new sheets (dude, linen sheets are ridiculously expensive), but then like a week ago, Lindsey bought new sheets (not linen, we are poor).
I also thought about ordering a fruit basket, but those are also expensive and I could not find one that would have fruits that she would like or not be allergic.
I decided to make my own damn basket. I went to TJ Maxx and bought a basket and then went to Giant Eagle to pick up some fruit. I bought a pineapple, mango, papaya, dragon fruit, and some other kind of papaya (a smaller one, maybe a yellow papaya, is that a thing?). Part of the gift is that I will cut the fruits for my dearest wife.
Another year has gone by and our family has grown (hopefully to maximum capacity) and through all that change, one thing remains constant: Lindsey snores. I am kidding, our love for each other and our kids is what binds this family.
