Quick Trip to Altoona

We took a quick little trip to Barnes & Noble today. Lindsey was at work and I did not feel like sitting around the house, so I took Payton and Logan to the book store. I have been wanting to find a new book, so figured this would be a good chance. Plus I had something to return at Dick’s, so it killed two birds with one stone.

Oh my. Payton went a little crazy when we hit the kids section. She was running around looking at everything screaming “oh my, they have everything!” I apologize to the people who were quietly trying to look at some kids books, haha. She also did her best to keep her mask on, but she is three, it is hard enough to get her to wear shoes.

Logan wanted out of his stroller and he also ran around like a kid who has never been out in public. He was already hyper because of the ride to Altoona. Payton was trying to get him to say Da-da and Pay-pay. She would go “say Pay-pay” and when he didn’t say it, she would make this weird screeching noise, which then made him laugh, then she would laugh and do it again. It was a loud ride from Johnstown to Altoona.

The reason I write this post is not to tell you about the fun times we had at a book store. Instead, I write this to show my appreciation for Lindsey. I rarely get the chance to take the kids anywhere on my own. It is not easy. I left the house and forgot water and had to come back. Lindsey does this all the time and she makes it look easy.
