This one is quite easy. Unfortunately, I am only about halfway through the book. I waited all year for Rhythm of War, the fourth book in The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. It is fantastic so far and I can say without hesitation that it is my favorite book.
If I were picking something as a close second it would probably be The Sandman audiobook. It was impressive how well they adapted an amazing comic book into an audio production.
There were two series that came to an end this year (The Lightbringer and The Licanius Trilogy). Both books were good, but neither stood out as particularly great. Kind of a shame because I had such high hopes for both series after their first books.
