2020 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 16 and Fantasy Football Playoffs Semifinal

Wow, what an awful performance by me last week. I only picked six. Mom and Jon each had nine. That means my lead on Jon is only two now. Ugh. I liked it better when I had a big lead and could mock him.

Underdog Special: Atlanta Falcons (+10.5)
I was totally right about the Bears. This week I am taking the Falcons. I do not think they beat the Chiefs, nor do I think it is a close game. However, I think it ends up like 35-28.
Underdog Record: 11-4

Steelers Pick: Wow! I was totally wrong about the Bengals. All of my instincts say to take the Colts this week, but I have this weird feeling. I am going to take the Steelers here. Everyone seems to think the collapse is inevitable and the Browns will beat them next week to win the division, blah blah blah. However, this is that weird moment when the Steelers rise up.
Steelers Pick Record: 10-4

The semifinals were not nearly as exciting as the previous round. Crazy that Lindsey (who got mocked by me for her draft strategy) and Dustin (who seriously needed me to win in the final week of the season to make it into the playoffs) made it to the finals.

Dustin had a big week from Matt Ryan (55.20), as well as David Montgomery (29.20). Sadly, Jarrod knew his chances were slim when Derek Carr went down with an injury during Thursday’s game. It is almost impossible to win without at least 20.00 points from your QB.

Lindsey won her match the old fashioned way: by having lots of players with decent amounts of points. No one really stood out (Patrick Mahomes had 47.10 points, but that was actually less than his projection), just solid scores from everyone. It also would not have mattered if Seth had started Justin Herbert over Aaron Rodgers.

The championship match should be good. Both teams are projected for almost identical scores. Good luck to both Dustin and Lindsey, not going to lie, I am probably a little biased here.
