Rough start to the year for me. I only picked five correctly. Fun fact, that is exactly how many I picked last season for week one. Teams look rusty in the first week (seriously, is it time to discuss either expand to eighteen games OR having starters play a bit more in the preseason?) and it is easy to panic about good teams after this week.
Underdog Special: San Francisco 49ers (+1.5)
I took almost all of the favorites this week. I went with the 49ers because I think they are a better team than the Bengals and I do not care the it is at Cincinnati. The Bengals are not good. Granted, what the hell do I know? I thought the Giants would cover last week. I was wrong.

Mom is the leader after week one with eight points. After that we have Jon, Sean, and Jason all at eight as well. Next we have Adam2, Matt, and Bill with seven. Then it is myself and Gideon with five, and last is Lindsey at two.
Good job my team! I am not going to lie, my team is awful. I think this is going to be a long year for me. It is so bad that I offered my wife a trade and she said “no thanks, your team has nothing I want.”

Lamar Jackson decided to shut everyone up about his abilities. Dustin took Lamar in the 7th round and it definitely paid off. Jackson scored 63.00 points, which if you looked at the total ended up being 36% of his total.
Speaking of Dustin and Lamar Jackson…I get to try my hand at the hot QB. He will probably beat me with just his QB. The big matchup this week is Scott vs. Jarrod. I find this one interesting because of Scott’s QB situation. He has Dak and Baker Mayfield. Last week he started Baker and even though he won big, he missed out on some huge points from Dak. This week he is starting Dak and we all know what will happen, right?
