2023 Golf Picks–The Masters

Today is the start of The Masters! I got a bunch of people into my pool, which is exciting. I hope this can grow next year and get a pretty big thing going.

So who did I take for this major?

Tier 1: Jon Rahm–Last year was his worst finish at Augusta National GC (27th). The previous three years, he finished in the top ten. I love his consistency each week. He may not win it, but I think he is right there.

Tier 2: Max Homa–My favorite golfer at the moment. I started following him on Twitter about two years ago, and he is an entertaining guy. It has been fun to watch him climb the world rankings. He has not fared well here, but I think he has a top ten finish this year.

Tier 3: Min Woo Lee–Lee finished 14th last year. He was 6th at the Players Championship a few weeks ago. I love watching him play, and if you are a fan of Rick Shiels, you have seen him on there before.

Tier 4: Tiger Woods–I mean, taking Tiger is risky, but damn the reward could be huge. Can he win that 6th jacket? I think he can shock everyone, but who knows if his leg & back can hold up the entire tournament.

Tier 5: Keegan Bradley–Finally back at this major. Watching him this year, he seems a little more relaxed. He did not play well at the Players, but before that he was 10th at the Arnold Palmer, 2nd at the Farmers Insurance Open. I could see him finishing in the top 25.

Tier 6: Gary Woodland–This is my worst pick, in my opinion. He never does well here. His best finish was 24th back in 2011. But, maybe he can make the cut and just not blow up my scorecard.
