2019 Fantasy Baseball Week 10

This is probably the best result for our household. Lindsey was winning all week and then I had a huge Sunday and snagged the wins category away from her with three wins from my pitchers.

Fantasy Player of the Week
Walker Buehler had two fantastic starts last week. He picked up two wins, struck out twenty, and only gave up one run over fifteen innings. You want to know the best thing about his performance? It was completely wasted because Jason either stopped paying attention or is an idiot who did not think Buehler was worth starting against the Giants. He ended up losing to James 5-3, if he starts Buehler, then he ties 5–5.

Around the League
James 5 Jason 3
Offord 6 Matt 5
Ryan 9 Dustin 2
Sean 6 Adam2 6
Gideon 9 Pat 3

Damn, Offord picks up a win. My guess is that Matt checked out too. Ryan continues to dominate after that slow start.

Best Move
Gideon finally dropped Miguel Cabrera. He only has three home runs on the year and it really looks like he is at the end of his career. Sad to see one of the greatest hitters of our generation completely falling apart (granted, he is hitting .296 right now, but with no power and no one good on the Tigers, he is not worth a roster spot). I get the hesitation from Gideon. It is hard to accept that these players are winding down. It is a reminder that we are getting old.

The New Week
The matchup we have all been waiting for: James versus Josh. #1 vs. #2. Ryan has moved up to third place and he takes on Matt, so Lindsey will have to win big against Sean or she could fall further behind. Gideon has Offord, so he could continue his winning ways. We also have Pat & Dustin and Adam2 & Jason.

Since Lindsey did not win, but it was against me, you are in luck! You get a song. Instead of Bush, you get Gavin Rossdale’s solo song “Love Remains the Same.”
