I recently finished the second book of The Fetch Phillips Archives by Luke Arnold. I thought it was better than the first book. It was interesting because I felt like the book was going to end, but then I looked at the time remaining, and it was only like halfway. The way it changes from a simple whodunit, to a deeper look at the growing problems inside Sunder City.
I do not want to spoil anything because I highly recommend this one. I will just say that Fetch is one of those characters where you love him, hate him, feel bad for, scream at, all in the span of like ten pages.
I look forward to the next book to see where Fetch’s story goes, but also to see how Sunder City grows and changes without the magic.
