A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight

The Dunk & Egg novellas are fantastic pieces of the ASOIAF universe. They are this fascinating insight into the smaller world of Westeros. How do the lesser houses actually operate, what are these battles about, that sort of thing. Plus, in the background is all of the Blackfyre Rebellion stuff. 

Anyways, the first episode of the show really captures the spirit of those stories. The episode was short (I think it was only thirty minutes), and it was not nearly as grand as GOT or HOTD. Makes sense, we are not dealing with kings and queens, lords and ladies, but instead a simple hedge knight. 

I do not want to spoil anything for anyone. There will be some cool revelations, and some great characters. Dunk & Egg will meet so many interesting characters. This season will probably just focus on the tournament. Pay attention to some of the stuff in the background, you will definitely hear things about the Blackfyres and probably a few mentions of Bloodraven.
