Well as predicted…that was a weird week! See, week one is just preseason 2.0. So hard to tell if teams are actually good. Anyways, I only picked seven right, which was not great. Mom was the big winner with eleven. After her is Offord at 9, then Sean and Scott with 8. Jon and James are behind me with six, then Adam is in last with 4.
Underdog Special: Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.0)
I am sticking with the Steelers again this week. The Patriots did not look good, and I think the Steelers can beat them even without TJ Watt. I was right last week about them keeping the game close, but I think this week we will a little more from the offense.
Underdog Record: 1-0 (+$9.55)
Steelers Prediction: I was wrong about the Steelers game outcome. I thought they would keep it close, but end up with the loss (they came close to it). I am happy to be wrong in this circumstance. This week I think they win the game.

Okay, so I will write about something each week down here. Not sure what. This week it has to do with coaches. Who will be the first coach fired this season? I think Matt Rhule is the favorite. Something tells me he could be headed to Nebraska. The big question is will he make it the rest of the season in Carolina or should he just start calling recruits now? If the Panthers lose this week against the Giants, I think that puts Rhule on the serious hot seat. Then if they lose the next five games, I cannot envision a scenario where they do not fire him before the Falcons game. The other favorites according to betting sites are Mike McCarthy (is Jerry Jones the type to fire a coach during the season?) and Pete Carroll (I think he bought himself a few weeks with that win against Denver). What are your thoughts?

Yeah, McCarthy could be in trouble, but losing his QB probably gives him a little more time.
