2019 Fantasy Baseball Week 5

Talk about blowing a lead! I was up 9-3 Saturday at some point. Most of Sunday looked pretty good, my team was up 7-5 fairly late, I figured I had a win. Then I check my score this morning and see a tie. Ughhhhhh. I hate ties!

Fantasy Player of the Week
I decided to look at a pitcher this week. Josh Hader picked up three saves and ten strikeouts! He had a two inning save where he struck out five guys. I wish I could say the saves and strikeouts helped me win those categories, but they did not. However, that dude definitely tried his hardest to get me some wins.

Around the League
Matt 7 Sean 4
Lindsey 9 Gideon 3
Jason 6 Ryan 5
James 11 Pat 1
Adam2 6 Offord 5

Alright, James can go back to bragging. Although, my wife is quietly having a pretty good start to the season.

Best Move
Lindsey dropped Profar and added Paul DeJong. That worked out well for her. He hit a solid .333 with a .467 OBP, while picking up a steal, a home run, two runs scored, and two RBIs. She won the HR category by two, so his definitely helped.

The New Week
I am out of first place. James jumped ahead of me after that performance. Technically we are tied, but he has the tie-breaker. I take on Sean this week, while James faces Adam2, who is in sixth place. Gideon drops to fifth and takes on Matt (11th). Ryan (7th) & Pat (10th) square off, while Dustin (9th) takes on Offord (12th). The big matchup this week is Lindsey (3rd) and Jason (4th).

She won again, so we get another song…a live version of “Greedy Fly”
