Alright everyone, I am writing this from sunny Myrtle Beach and I honestly do not have much time to do the normal stuff. Instead, I will do a quick abreviated version.
As you can see, I defeated Pat. I thought for sure that I was going to blow this one because Saturday afternoon it looked like the score had flipped on me. Luckily, things went my way the next two days.
I pulled off a pretty big trade with Matt: Jose Altuve, Jim Jeffress, and Jake Arrieta for Charlie Blackmon & Gerrit Cole. I need a starting pitcher that picks up strikeouts and could actually use some more power, which Blackmon provides. It was hard for me to part with Altuve, since he has been so good for me for a few years now.
This week I take on Adam2, who is at the beach with me and is kicking my ass at golf, so I guess defeating him at fantasy baseball would be satisfying.
