I have to go away tomorrow for a work trip. The roads are supposed to be bad tomorrow night and the next day. I am not looking forward to driving in crappy weather.
I like my car. Unfortunately, it is not ideal now. It is pretty small. The backseat has the car seat, which makes it really hard for anyone to sit in the front passenger seat since it will not go very far back. It will only become more cramped when Logan comes and I have both car seats in there.
Plus, the weather really sucks. I want something with all-wheel drive. It was not too bad when it was just me in the car, but now I have Payton & Logan to think about, obviously I want them to be safe. Yeah, I sound like every parent ever, haha.
I do not want a huge SUV. I prefer something like like a compact SUV/crossover. I really like the Nissan Juke (yeah, I know, they are weird looking, which is why I like them) or the Hyundai Kona. The Toyota CH-R is not too bad either, same with the Mazda CX-5.
In a perfect world, where I could get anything (well within reason), I would probably go for some kind of hybrid. Unfortunately, those are usually out of my price range.
If I could sell my Elantra and get enough to pay it off, I would definitely look into getting something different. So if anyone is looking at buying a car…hit me up.
