2022 Fantasy Baseball Week 4

I thought I was playing Jordan. Instead I was getting an easy match against Dustin (no offense). My hitting was solid yet again, but the pitching was a little weak. Or maybe it was just my relievers again.

Fantasy Stud
Five saves in a week. That has to be close to a record. Liam Hendriks did that this week, while striking out eight hitters. He gave up no runs and had a WHIP of 0.20! That is a dominant performance. James drafted Hendriks in the fifth round (after taking Hader in the 4th round…wait, did I give James advice about how I would draft for a streaming pitcher strategy?).

The League
Jordan 6 Matt 6
James 7 Pat 4
Gideon 8 Offord 2
Ryan 11 Lindsey 1
Jason 8 Sean 2

Gideon moved into first place (thanks Offord, you could have helped me out by beating Gideon). I am now in second place with Jordan dropping to third. Ryan jumped to fourth followed closely by James. Then we have Jason, Pat, Offord, Sean, Matt, Dustin, and Lindsey.

Next Up
This week I take on Matt. Yeah, I am sure of my opponent this time. The big battle this week will be Ryan & Offord, two former champs.

As we continue this tour of music from 1992, we now hit The Cure’s excellent hit “Friday I’m in Love.” I am always amazed by the variety of music The Cure played. I mean, you have a song like this, then two years later they release “Burn” for The Crow soundtrack. Such different songs.
