2018 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 5 and Fantasy Football Week 4

I am getting better each week. This week I picked eight correctly.  That was good for the lead in the week (along with Mom, Sean, and Jason).

Underdog Special: Seattle Seahawks (+7.5)
I am not doing very well with my underdog picks. I think the Seahawks have a chance to keep it close. They are at home and they usually play well at home (although last year they were pretty bad, only covering 25% of the time at home).
Underdog Record: 0-3

Gideon is still in the lead at 33-28. After that it goes: Mom, Sean, Jon, Offord, Josh, Adam, Jason, Lindsey, Ryan, and Rob.

Basically any other team and I would have been a big winner (okay, minus three teams). I was winning going into Monday, but then Justin Tucker had to hit a bunch of field goals. Am I a bad fan because I was hoping the Ravens would either score TDs or just turn the ball over? I knew that Tucker never misses and it would be over if he nailed one long field goal.

I did look like a genius for picking up Mitchell Trubisky. Six touchdowns! Should I expect this moving forward or was that just a fluke? I will probably stick with Cam for a bit, but if Trubisky repeats…then he may be my starter.

Standings
Adam (4-0)
BatmanJason (3-1)
Ryan (3-1)
Rob (3-1)
Jarrod (3-1)
Jason (3-1)
Gideon (2-2)
Jessica (2-2)
Seth (2-2)
Dustin (2-2)
Lindsey (2-2)
Offord (1-3)
Josh (1-3)
Bill (1-3)
John (0-4)
Scott (0-4)

The big stud this week was Jared Goff. I was pretty mad about trading him when he put up 90.20 points against the Vikings. Wise decision for Bill to trade for him.

I play Jessica this week. I need a win before I really fall out of contention. There are two intriguing matchups this week: Jarrod vs. BatmanJason & Rob vs. Ryan. Two of those 3-1 teams will end up at 3-2, which should help separate that top section of teams.
