Payton’s New Toys

I recently put Payton’s little car together. I planned on putting some of her outside stuff together this week while on vacation. My thought was it would be nice out and I could put the stuff together outside in the yard. HAHAHA, oh silly me! I live in PA and it is snowing today. I decided while Lindsey and Payton were out that I would get some stuff put together. I started with her Jeep that my mom got her for her birthday (or Christmas, I cannot remember which one).

Naturally it was quite easy…

As you can see, I think it has a Hemi under the hood. HAHA, like I know anything about engines or cars in general. It is fun to pretend though. It did not take all that long to put it together though. The instructions were fairly straight-forward.

It is pretty fancy: it has a radio, a remote control, and it can be driven by Payton.

Once the Jeep was done, I decided to put together the patio…WAIT, ANOTHER FREAKIN’ PATIO???

I figured I could put some of it together, then put it on the porch to finish on a nice day.

I wish I could say the instructions were easy. They had almost no words and while the pieces fit together nicely, the screws did not have starter holes, which is not a huge problem, but a pain in the ass when you are on your own. Luckily, I am good at finding ways to put things together by myself.

Fun fact: putting this grill together was much easier than putting our actual grill together. Unfortunately, the wind blew our real grill over, so at some point, I will probably be putting it back together as well.

This was as much as I could do in the house. I carried it out to the porch and when it warms up (probably July), then I will put the canopy up.

I actually enjoy doing this sort of thing. I may complain about it, but once I start putting together something like this or some piece of furniture, then I am happy. Unless the instructions are terrible, then I get annoyed. Or the pieces are broken.
