The Bud Light Stuff and Johnstown!

I think you all have seen the stories about conservatives boycotting Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch for having a marketing campaign with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender TikTok star. You can read all about it, well just about anywhere. You just need to know that people went crazy over this whole thing, with Kid Rock shooting a bunch of full cans of Bud Light with his AR-15 (I am guessing that is the gun he used). Then Travis Tritt said he would no longer have Bud Light at his shows…well not the venues, because he cannot control that shit, but instead it would no longer be what he and his crew would drink backstage.

Anyways, this insanity hit Johnstown the other day. I got off the one exit to head to work the other day, I was behind a Bud Light delivery truck, and this car pulls up in the right lane beside the truck. The car is an old man and woman, probably 70s. They have a bunch of MAGA stickers on their car. At the red light, the old man leans out the window and screams “FUCK YOU PEDOPHILE!!!” at the delivery driver.

Can you imagine this driver, sitting in his truck, looking over at this guy yelling that? That guy is not involved with the marketing department at Anheuser-Busch. The truck is probably owned by some distributor. I doubt it was the truck taking Budweiser products to the beer distributors. It is most likely the truck taking Bud from the distributors to bars and restaurants. Yeah, way to go crazy MAGA people, just screaming away at a random driver.

The funniest thing about this whole thing has been watching conservatives trying to find beers that are not “woke.” But it turns out that breweries like sales, and they have tried to push their brands on just about any group that wants to drink. Like most of the major beer companies have sponsored different LGBTQ events. Why? Because it turns out that gay people like to drink too. But you know what? Those companies also like to donate money to GOP candidates, so you know, they do not want to alienate any possible beer consumers, but they also do not want to pay taxes. Basically they are like most companies.
