2024 Fantasy Baseball: Week 19

Back to the winning side! If I lost to Pat, I was probably done with fantasy baseball this year (especially when you factor in how I missed the playoffs in another league–by having an invalid lineup at the beginning of the week, so none of my stats counted, those stats cost me just enough to drop out of the playoffs, ughhh). Granted, this was not a pretty win, but whatever, I just need to stay ahead of Jason.

Difference Maker
Charlie Morton picked up a win along with fifteen strikeouts in two starts last week. Not too shabby for a 40-year-old, who I drafted in the 18th round. Crazy to think that back in 2009 we were super excited about this kid from the Nate McLouth trade who had electric stuff. I really hope some of these guys (Morton, Glasnow, Cole) write a book about the Pirates during those years. I would love to know how much the organization tried to change them, and if they thought it set them back (I know there have been articles, but I would kill for a first-person account about the Pirates shittiness).
This week I go against Offord, who is in second place (only 12.5 behind James). I am four games ahead of Jason, who has an easy week against Lasher. I cannot lose this week.
