2020 NFL Pick ‘Em: Championship Week

I basically sealed my victory last week by picking three right and Jon missing all of them. The only chance he has is to get the three remaining games right and me to not get any correct. Then it would come down to tie-breakers.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Buffalo Bills (+3.0)
I think this will be a close game. If the Chiefs win it, then it will be by a late field goal to take the lead. If the Bills win, then it probably means Mahomes did not play the entire game. I guess this is my underdog pick. I was right last week about the Browns and that put my underdog record at 13-5-1.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Green Bay Packers (-3.0)
I think Aaron Rodgers is playing at such a high level right now, I just cannot see Tampa Bay stopping them. I would not put money on this one though because Tom Brady is just too good in these situations. If I had to take a guess, I would say Packers 28-24.

It is cool how opposite the two conferences are in regards to the quarterbacks. Young vs. old. As we see the QBs from the old guard retiring (or at the last needing to retire), it is great to see the generation of youngsters ready to take their place. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray bring an air of excitement for the future. At the same time, it is sad to see guys like Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Rodgers, and Brady at the end of their careers.
