The only thing worse than losing a bunch? Winning and keeping myself in playoff contention. I would have been fine being awful and knowing my season was over, but noooooo. I had to win and give myself hope. Ughhhhhhh.
Fantasy Stud
Remember Cody Bellinger? Apparently he still exists and he decided to have an incredible week. He hit .444 with a .500 OBP, while stealing five bases. He also hit a home run, knocked in seven, and scored nine times. Any guesses who has him on his team? Yep, Ryan. Naturally he takes a chance on guys like that, he drafted Bellinger in the 13th round. Not bad for a player that will most likely hit the 20/20 club this year.
The Season
Congrats to Gideon for scoring the first donut of the season. Crazy that Offord came close so many times, but has not managed to achieve the perfect 12-0. This is his third donut, which puts him three behind me. This also brought Gideon a half game from me. We are both pushing Dustin hard for that last playoff spot. This week I take on Jordan, maybe I can replicate Gideon’s success.
I figure this is a fitting song for me right now…or maybe for Gideon. Okay, probably for Offord. You know who is stoppable? James.
