Some fantastic television shows this year. I think this is a fairly comprehensive list of the shows I watched this year. I probably forgot a few. These stars go from 1-5. One being shows that I enjoyed, but I would not say are very good, but that I at least finished, or will keep watching. Five being top-tier television. Now, you may be asking “were there shows that you did not finish?” Yes, there were a few. Citadel and Mayfair Witches. I made it through a few episodes and did not like either of them. Also, I did enjoy The Company You Keep, but it was canceled.

So, now the moment you have all been waiting for…the 5-star show that was my favorite for 2023…The Bear! Season two was incredibly good. One of the things I consider when picking a favorite, is how often I recommend a show to other people. The Bear has been the show that when people ask for a recommendation, I bring up all the time. There were so many great episodes this season. Here are my three favorite:
S2E6-Fishes: The insane family Christmas dinner. Everything about it was tense. Like the episode from the first season with the kitchen printer. Just pure tension and anxiety bottled into an episode.
S2E10-The Bear: The soft-opening of the restaurant. Things get out of hand, and an unlikely hero steps up to take control.
S2E7–Forks: My favorite episode of the season. Richie goes to a fancy restaurant to learn how to…everything. It is incredible.
