Best of 2020: Favorite TV Show

It seems like there were a plethora of great television shows this year. People obviously watched a ton more this year and the different platforms found ways to get out more content. I am sure people were very appreciative for the distractions.

First, I need to mention the shows I finally got a chance to watch from last year: Cobra Kai and The Witcher. They were both excellent. I was completely blown away by the two seasons of Cobra Kai and cannot wait for season three (honestly, if I did not have strict rules about the show coming out in that year, this would probably be my favorite show of the year).

Next there was a show that Lindsey watched, that I ended up really liking as well: Normal People. It was definitely good and made me want to visit Ireland at some point.

The Mandalorian (to be fair, this was actually my favorite show, but it was my favorite last year and I hate having a repeat winner), Last Week TonightWestworld, His Dark Materials, This Is Us, and The Boys were all fantastic in their later seasons. We also said goodbye to Modern Family this year, which was a bit sad for me as it had become one of my favorite shows.

There were the shows on HBO. Seriously, how do they do it every year? Lovecraft Country, I May Destroy YouIndustry, The Undoing, and The Vow were all shows that I could not wait each week to watch.

My favorite show of the year was from HBO as well. The Outsider blew me away way back at the beginning of the year and unlike other shows where you watch it and forget about it, I have kept thinking about it.
