Before we get started with 2020, a quick recap of how I did last year. I did better than the previous year. 13/32, good for 40.62% correct. I picked four of the division winners, but none of the wild cards. I obviously did not pick anything in the playoffs right, haha. 

It should probably be noted that I am just assuming that the entire season plays out as normal. I am not taking any pandemic stuff into consideration and if the season turns wonky, I get a pass for any huge mistakes.

AFC

I know, it is easy to bet against the Patriots and take the Bills to win the division. And I will not lie, it is quite tempting, but I think the Patriots with a healthy Cam Newton will be good enough to win the division, but it will not be as easy as it has been in years past. I think the Steelers will be good, but if the Ravens stay healthy, they are still just a bit better. The Chiefs will be very good, but I do not seem they being as dominant, but their division sucks, so they should be good. The South is anyone’s guess. The Jags could end up winning it, who the hell knows.

Wild Cards: Steelers, Bills, Texans

NFC

I feel like the NFC has way more toss-ups than the AFC. There were a bunch of really good teams last year and I wonder if this year they fall a bit. There is a part of me that wants Tampa Bay to be really good this year (the part that really likes Chris Godwin) and would love to see Brady vs. Belichick Super Bowl. I think the West will be the most interesting again, the Seahawks & 49ers are great and honestly, the Rams may be back up there again. No clue what will happen in the East, I hope the Giants can make a step forward and be better than the last two years.

NFC DIVISIONAL ROUND: 49ers over Buccaneers, Saints over Seahawks
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Steelers over Ravens
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Saints over 49ers
SUPER BOWL: Steelers over Saints

Yep, I am being a total homer here and picking the Steelers. I feel like their defense is so good that it will take some pressure off the offense. Ben is healthy and he looks to be in great shape. He may not have the weapons around him that he had in that past, but I think there will be a few surprises. If they win the Super Bowl, I would expect him to retire. Crazy to think that this could be the end of the great quarterbacks…Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger, Rivers…
