There will be a new Star Wars television show coming sometime in 2019. The show will be featured on the Disney streaming service, which will most likely be a must have in this household. I mean, aside from Star Wars and Marvel content, there will also be stuff for Payton.
Anyways, the show will take place after the fall of the Empire, but before the rise of the First Order. It will focus on the criminal underworld of Star Wars. The character wears Mandalorian armor, like Boba Fett and his dad, not sure if he maybe idolizes them, or perhaps he is actually from the Mandalorian warriors? A remnant of those people? Either way, he looks pretty bad-ass!
I am sure there are Star Wars fans out there freaking out and trying to guess the character’s identity. Relax everyone. If it turns out to be someone from previous stories or a whole new character, just try to base your opinion on the actual merits of the show.
Jon Favreau is writing the show. Remember, he was the guy who made Iron Man such a hit. He tackled that project because he was a fan and if I remember correctly, he wanted to write a Star Wars story, so I feel like he will bring his A-game. Without Favreau directing such a great movie, the MCU would have probably never continued.
I guess my point here is that we should be excited about this show. I like what I am seeing and hearing about it.
