You cannot go through the 1950s without mentioning Elvis Presley. The king of rock ‘n roll. It is easy to see since so many of his songs dominated the 1950s. Elvis helped bring rock ‘n roll to the youth of America, and make it popular (sure, we can argue about the origins of rock, but it is hard to deny the impact Elvis had on the genre).
And just think, if it wasn’t for Forrest Gump, he would not have had those sweet dance moves!
