A terrible week for everyone. Gideon was the best with only eight. Sean was next with six. Jon, Adam, and myself only had five. Just an awful performance. The standings did not change much. I mean, Sean and Gideon gained some ground, but they would need a few of us to have a missed week to have much of a chance.
Underdog Special: Las Vegas Raiders (+1.0)
I am very tempted to take the Lions again. +10 versus the Browns, who got destroyed last week? But, I think Cleveland comes out angry and gives the Lions a beatdown. Instead, I will take the Raiders. I think they win against the Bengals (obviously at +1.0, I am not banking on another tie this week).
Underdog Record: 8-2 (+$67.13)
Steelers Pick: I don’t like this game. Mason is not a good QB and the Chargers should have no problem winning. The Steelers defense, even without Watt, should keep it close, but not close enough for me to take the points. I am going to give myself credit for last week. Yeah, it was a tie, but I think I called how the game would go (squandered opportunities)…hey, my blog means my rules.
Steelers Pick Record: 6-3
I scored 98.60 points and managed to win. Going into Monday night, I assumed I lost since Bill had three guys playing that night and was only losing 98.60-73.30. You would think with Beckham, Henderson, and Van Jefferson that he should have won easily. Imagine my surprise when I open the app on Tuesday and that stupid notification popped up to let me know I won. Sucks for Bill. I am somehow in 9th place. Fantasy football is so weird.
In other news, my brother finally lost! Lindsey continues to either score a ton of points or no points. She is in 7th place with the second most points. She beat BatmanJason easily this week, which dropped him to third place. When was the last time he was in third place? I don’t remember, I swear he is always in first or second place. For probably the last five years.
