I am not going to give a full recap here. Instead, I just want to mention something that Lindsey and I noticed. Kate & Toby are not in the future. They are not at Kevin’s house for Rebecca’s final hours. Nor are they with Jack during the birth of Hope.
Obviously those things do not happen in the same time. It looks like Kevin’s twins are between 12-14, which would mean that it would be that long when Rebecca finally goes. That would mean that Jack Damon is a year or so older than the twins. When we meet him, he is in his twenties and my guess is mid twenties or maybe close to thirty. So that timeline must be another fifteen years down the road.
Personally, I think this is just the show messing with us. They know we will all notice Kate & Toby’s absence and that we will all theorize what happened. I think this is another fake out like last year with Randall & Beth. I bet in the first episode of next season, Kate and Toby come to the hospital to see their kids and their granddaughter.
Do you have any theories or do you think I am spot on? Also, do you think Kevin and Randall will ever be able to move past the things that were said? I know it looks like it when Kevin squeezes his shoulder, but that could just mean they are amicable during the end of their mother’s life. Do you think Madison and Kevin are together? Did they show her and I missed it? I am rooting for those two. Was the museum girl pretty much the most obvious thing ever?
