I love painting. Just kidding, I hate it. Okay, that is not true either. I do not like painting, but I think I am fairly good at it. When I finish a room, I look around and marvel at how well it turned out.
Today I finished our bedroom. That means all three bedrooms are finished and the playroom is done. All I have left is the kitchen, hallway, dining room, and living room. Also, I want to paint all of the trim. I did the trim in Payton’s room and the playroom. It was awful with just brushes, but then I bought a trim roller and it was seriously so easy after that.
I ended up picking up out the paint for the rooms and I am impressed with my skills. Lindsey liked all of my choices. For Payton’s room, I went with a shade of purple. Logan’s room is a navy blue. For our room, I chose a very dark gray. I used a light gray for the playroom, which will also be in the kitchen, hallway, and maybe the mudroom.
Once I finish painting everything, my goal is to put a chair rail in Logan’s room. The old house had one in that room and it just looked so good with the navy paint. How hard can it be to install that sort of thing?
Don’t worry, I will post pictures of everything when the entire house is finally finished.
