Our Lady Peace released an acoustic version of the album Spiritual Machines. For those that do not know, this is a concept album based on the writings of Raymond Kurzweil. In fact, they used him reading various excerpts of The Age of Spiritual Machines.
The cool thing is that I pre-ordered the album from their site and I ended up getting a special edition. I think it was all black, whereas the normal version was colorful. I do not think there was anything special about the actual album itself other than that.
Anyways, it is cool hearing some of the songs from that album acoustically. It actually fits the subject very well.
