Know Your President: Week Thirty-Three

Party: Democratic

Fact Five: Pissed off German-Americans by pushing through an Espionage Act and a Sedition Act, which was aimed at punishing people who were upset at the involvement of America in the Great War. The Republican Party swooped in and picked up the demographic in the next election.
