Last week I improved a little bit, back up to seven correct picks. John was the best with eight, so it is not like anyone did really well. I am still in first place. Adam is in second and only three behind me. From there it goes Jon (-4), Mom (-4), John (-8), and Sean (-9). 

Underdog Special: San Francisco 49ers (+3.5)
I was right about the 49ers last week and I might as well take them again. I think the Seahawks will win, but I could see it coming down to a late field goal. 
Underdog Record: 5-2

Steelers Pick: Ravens/Steelers! This is always a fun game and I feel like it can either go blowout or super close. I think the Steelers will shut down Lamar Jackson, which will keep the game fairly low-scoring. My guess is the Steelers win 17-13.

Hating Life: I was winning 160.90 to 65.40 going into the Cardinals/Seahawks game. My brother had three players: Kyler Murray, Christian Kirk, and Chase Edmonds. They were projected for 60.93 points. I figured it was an easy win. I was deciding on strategy for the next few weeks and how I could make the playoffs. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. 105 points later and I am sitting there with another loss. I hate Seattle’s defense.
Worst Benching: I tried to trade Deshaun Watson to a few people and seriously considered starting Joe Burrow. He scored 68 points and that would have given me a win despite the Cardinals major scoring late.
Fantasy Stud: Tyler Lockett with 66.00 points. Lindsey definitely needed it after a pedestrian game from Patrick Mahomes (26.00 points!). 
Why Bother: Any Dallas players. Dalton got hurt, Elliot was useless, Lamb with a whopping .10 points…the only player who did anything was Cooper. Maybe don’t start the Cowboys players this week.

Standings

Gideon continues to win and continues to live up to his team name. Adam moved up to fifth, had he lost to me then he would have been in eighth. I moved up to twelfth. I guess that is something to celebrate. Can I make the playoffs? It will be next to impossible. This week I take on Gideon and something tells me I will be dropping to 1-7. The exciting matchup this week is Lindsey and Dustin (#3 vs. #4).
