A Month of Comedy: Andrew Dice Clay

Everyday this month I will be posting one of my favorite comedians.  There will be plenty of videos and a little bit about why I like them.  The videos are most likely NSFW.

The Dice-Man!  OOHHHH!  My dad allowed me listen to him when I was a kid.  I think it was also his way of giving me the Birds/Bees talk.  After a joke about sex, my dad shut the cassette player off and said “do you understand that joke?”  It was definitely awkward and uncomfortable.  Also, probably a terrible way to teach a young kid about sex.  Or maybe it was a great way, depends on your POV.

I have heard that his whole disgusting persona was an act.  He was actually a pretty good guy.  Who knows if that is true, but it was probably the first time I heard about how comedians persona’s were just part of the act.  I guess for that, the Dice-Man will always have a special place in my heart, to which he would probably laugh at me and say “cocksucker!”
