This is what you call a close beat down. I lost 7-5, but the hitting stats were not even close, nor were the saves. I had like zero chance to comeback after Friday. As you can see, the streaming pitchers worked for me. I just needed some saves. My hitters were awful this week. They were six for fifty-nine on Wednesday & Thursday. That is a .102 batting average. Not good. Not good at all.

I feel like I sometimes ignore my relief pitchers. And I am going to avoid making an OH joke. Instead, I want to point out how awesome he was this week. He picked up a win, a save, a hold, without giving up a run, while striking out six and having a 1.00 WHIP. He was Oh so good…okay, I lied, I could not resist that lame pun.

Last week Offord suggested that a shutout be known as a donut (you know, like the weight players put on their bat). I do not know if we can call Gideon’s win a donut though since it was 11-0-1. Maybe this can be a beignet. Looks like all the winners did their thing and the losers did theirs. Guess I am a loser…
Best Move of the Week
Sometimes when you stream pitchers, you snag a good one and decide to not let him go. That happened with me and Kenta Maeda. He pitched so well for me that I just kept him and he did not disappoint. A win and 18 strikeouts this week in two starts while having a 1.29 ERA and 0.79 WHIP.
The New Week
The standings pretty much stayed the same. This week I take on Ryan. I wish I could say that it will be an easy one, but who knows, my team kind of sucks. The rest of the matches look like this: Adam v. Matt, Sean v. Dustin, James v. Pat, and Gideon v. Offord. The big matchup is between Lindsey & Jason. Should be a pretty good one.
Since Lindsey won again, that means I get to post a music video. For those that do not remember, her team name is BusterParkerPosey, so I have been trying to find songs from Parker Posey’s films…

It would not be right of me to post a song by The Cranberries and not mention “Zombie”, which I think is one of Lindsey’s all-time favorite songs. Like it would definitely be in her top ten. You want to know what song would be on her bottom ten? “Fireflies” by Owl City. She hates that song. Anyways, enjoy this bonus song.
