Track & Field
Women: Had a great showing at the Big Ten Indoor Championship. The women placed third and had a few champions: Allison Johnson (800m), Chloe Royce (Pentathalon), and Yasmin Brooks (60m Hurdles)

Men: Luke Knipe and Tyler Merkley ended up on second team in their events.

Tennis
Men: Lost at UPenn 4-0. They are 6-4

Volleyball
Men: Two more wins this week. Defeated St.Francis College Brooklyn 3-0, then New Jersey Institute of Technology 3-2. 12-3 (7-0)

Women: Katie Hurta, the Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year is coming to play for the Lady Lions

Swimming
Men: The men had 16 top 24 finishers. They finished in 8th place. Like last week, I still have no clue about swimming. It does not look like they had anyone win an event. 

Lacrosse
Women: The ladies went 2-0 this week. First they defeated Duquesne, 18-4. Then they took down Cornell, 20-11. Brooke Hoss was the B1G Freshman of the Week. 2-1
Men: The LAX team upset #5 Yale, 10-6! Jeb Brenfleck was the B1G Freshman of the Week. Brayden Peck was the B1G Defensive Player of the Week. 2-3

Softball
They went 2-2 at the I-75 Challenge. The lost twice to Georgia Tech (2-0, 6-4) and beat Kennesaw State twice (5-2, 10-2). 8-5

Baseball
2-1 against Maine. They won 4-3, 9-3, and lost 5-3. They are now 3-4 this season.

Hockey
Men: Split at Michigan State. They won the first game 5-3, but lost the second 2-1. 15-18-1 (6-17-1)
Women: They Lady Lions lost to Mercyhurst 4-2. 18-10-5 (8-3-3)

Gymnastics
Women: Defeated Maryland 196.400-195-425
Men: Had three gymnasts finish in the top ten at the Winter Cup.

Fencing
Men: They went 4-1 at the Temple Invitational. Defeated Stevens (18-9), Penn (16-11), St.Johns (17-10), Johns Hopkins (20-7). They lost to Princeton (16-11).

Women: Also went 4-1 at the Temple Invitational. Defeated Temple (15-12), Penn (14-13), St.Johns (18-9), Johns Hopkins (17-10). They also lost to Princeton (15-12)

Basketball
Men: Seriously, this team is very frustrating. They defeated Northwestern, 67-60, but then they lost to Nebraska! Yeah, Nebraska…a team with one conference win. Well now they have two. Not only that, but Penn State lost 93-70. 12-14 (7-11)
Women: They lost two more games. First was to #17 Ohio State (78-55) and then to Minnesota (94-83). 11-17 (5-13)

Wrestling
The Big Ten Tournament is this weekend, the team is still ranked #1 in the country and they have four #1 seeds in the tournament: Roman Bravo-Young, Nick Lee, Carter Starocci, and Aaron Brooks.
