I recently finished The Sandman audiobook from Audible. I think some of you may know that The Sandman is probably my favorite comic series of all-time, but if you did not know that, well…now ya do. I have probably read the series at least four times straight through and different volumes a few more than that.
I was not all that enthused about the idea of listening to it. But, there were no books on Audible that struck my fancy, so I figured why the hell not. I am glad I did! It was AMAZING! The production level is top-notch with James McAvoy playing Morpheus and a bunch of other big name talent.
My favorite scene was probably the conversation between Death and Dream. Death is played by Kat Dennings and she brings the character to life (hahaha). She also shines in the story with Urania Blackwell. I hope they continue adapting this story and in doing so, they convince a studio to make this into a TV show.
