A tie…always a good way to start the season. It all went bad on Sunday. I am pretty sure I was winning up until then. The funny thing is my fear was getting saves, and well as you can see, the saves were flowing freely. It was the hitting that went a little dry.
Fantasy Stud
This year I will just focus on my team. Racking up three of those eight saves was Clay Holmes. The Yankees reliever had seven strikeouts, and a 3.86 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP. He had a rough outing in the second game of the season, but rebounded nicely with four appearances without giving up a run.
The Season
I am 6-6-0 on the season. At the moment I am 4.5 games behind Offord, who went 10-1-1 last week. I take on Ryan this week, who lost to Gideon 6-5-1. A little early in the season for Ryan and I to have an epic battle, we need to save it for the playoffs.
One thing I liked doing in previous years was finding some kind of song for when I won. I do not know quite yet, but hey, at least I did not win this week, so I have another week to decide.
