I remember hearing about a Zack Snyder Star Wars film for a while. I loved his idea, getting back to the roots of Star Wars, no legacy characters, just playing in the universe with a completely different story. Then, like so many ideas you hear in the SW realm, it just fizzled out. But then Snyder said he was going to turn it into his own thing. I dig that idea. People love to complain that there are no original sci-fi movies anymore, everything is either a superhero movie or some existing franchise. Reboots and sequels. So now we have an original idea. Yes, it started out as a Star Wars movie, and from the teaser, there are still elements, but it looks cool.
Anyways, my point here is that I am excited for this movie.
