One of the greatest Star Wars actors of all-time passed away. Yep, you may not realize that Wilford Brimley was in Star Wars, but alas, he was and he was his usual, amazing self. Ewoks: The Battle for Endor is an underrated gem (or at least it is in my memory).
Anyways, I have a funny story about Wilford. When I wwas younger (like 13 or so), my uncle and I came up with this funny idea that Wilford Brimley was the ultimate being in the universe. I cannot remember how it started, but we would always joke that movies should have him show up out of nowhere and just defeat the bad guy with his old grumpy man powers.
We would joke that he was an old man way back then (26 years ago!). That meant we thought he was ancient when he was 59. I am closer to that age now, then I am to 13. That is a weird thought.
Wilford seemed like a pretty good dude. His Twitter account was funny and he did pick Penn State to beat Ohio State two years in a row, so he always had my respect.
